A tall juniper that originally came from Elaine @b A tall juniper that originally came from Elaine @bonsaiisland who I remember was kind enough to deliver the tree to me as it was so tall when it was raw stock. Still quite tall now. The shari takes over half of the trunk and the jin at the top of the tree was steamed and repositioned last year. Needs a more suitable container which may happen later this year. Not the nicest, compact foliage but definitely suits a larger bonsai. #bonsai #bonsaimatsu #juniper #juniperbonsai #bonsaifromaustralia #australianbonsai #bonsaistuffpodcast

The foliage gets very dense and there is die back on the inner areas of the pads. After removing the dead growth I blow put the pads with compressed air. Finished just in time for this weekend’s Juniper Training Course. #bonsai #bonsaimatsu #juniperbonsai #tosho #bonsaifromaustralia #australianbonsaicrew #foeminajuniper #bonsaistuffpodcast
