The Intermediate Bonsai Course – Defoliation and Summer Care covers the horticultural principles of caring for your bonsai during summer, pest and disease control and prevention and more specifically, the technique of defoliation for deciduous species. This is a great hands on course that will ensure your skill level and confidence improves.
The Intermediate Bonsai Training Course runs over 4-6 sessions throughout the year to allow for a wide range of topics to be covered. There are four primary seasonal sessions with the topics to be covered specific to the time of year. You are invited to start the training at any time of the year. This course runs from either 9.30am to 12.30pm or 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
There are no prerequisites to do this course. Class size is limited and it’s a fun, friendly and informative environment. Bring your trees or work on some of mine to ensure your techniques are perfect. Comprehensive course notes are provided to ensure you gain the skills needed to take your bonsai to the next level.
