Online Workshop Requirements
By using Zoom, it allows for an easy to use video meeting feed that is freely available on almost all platforms such as a Windows PC, OSX Mac, iPhone or Android Smartphone. Ensure this is installed at least the day before your scheduled appointment. Below are the links to download the software from.

A link to a Zoom Meeting will be sent to you via email with your chosen date/time slot. After installing Zoom, all you will need to do is click on the link via the device you wish to use Zoom on. It will open the App and you can click "connect". Please ensure you are on time and ready for the online meeting to commence as allocated blocks will not be extended due to a late start or no show.

Thanks to the isolation created by the Coronavirus Scott created video link one on ones so along with his expert advice I could still work on my trees and continue their progress.
Although not knowing how it would go I had my first workshop tonight and I came out of it extremely satisfied.
Scott has such a good system set up in his workshop with 3 different cameras/views so he could look at my tree close up or I could look at his instruction on the whiteboard but for me the best thing by far is it forces the student to work on his/her own tree – well Scott cant do it – and this is hands down the best way to learn especially if you need confidence in any area of bonsai.
I have now done my first 2 jins – great stuff.
The system is easy to set up and use, I hooked up with my laptop with no issues whatsoever so dont let isolation prevent you from our bonsai workshops as this is a perfect way to adapt to the unusual current conditions we are facing.

Hi Scott,
I just wanted to send you a short note to say how great I thought the video workshop went the other night. It was good to have a workshop that was focused on the issues that I was having at the start of autumn. I also thought an hour was a good length for the start of the year and I felt that we covered a good number of topics around my trees. I particularly liked the fact that you had multiple cameras set up so that you could show different aspects as we went. And it was very useful for you to have similar trees on hand to demonstrate techniques that I could then copy on my own trees.
I look forward to doing this again at the beginning of winter.

I just wanted to offer some feedback on your innovative Zoom bonsai workshops. I wasn’t sure just how they would go and I probably over-prepared in trying to set up my computer, iPad and phone for the first one. However, as always your warm and professional approach to teaching made the session very worthwhile. I was much more relaxed myself for the second workshop a week later and we achieved so much that I can wholeheartedly recommend your Zoom workshops. I look forward to getting back to face to face but until that happy time I know I can continue to improve my trees through your on-line workshops.

Scott is a fantastic and knowledgeable teacher. Wherever you are on your Bonsai journey, I highly recommend attending Scott’s training sessions/workshops.
